THE VISIT
A day with the reindeer — and the people who care for them
The road from Murmansk leads towards the forests and lakes of the Kola Peninsula. At the village, a host introduces Sami traditions through stories, animals, games, clothing and food.
Reindeer are at the heart of the day. You also meet the huskies, join outdoor games, try traditional Sami dress for photographs and sit down to a hot lunch.
Your guide and transport are private. The village is a visitor attraction and may welcome other guests on the same day.
