we recently went on a sightseeing boat tour along the canals of St. Petersburg, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The highlight was definitely the guide Marina —excellent, friendly, and clearly passionate. She managed to keep the tour engaging the whole way, weaving together vivid observations of what we were passing with deeper historical context.

What stood out most was how thoughtfully she shared insights into everyday life of the city “today,” while still connecting it to the past. Instead of listing dates and landmarks, the guide made the history feel relevant—explaining historical facts in a way that added meaning to the buildings, bridges, and canal views. Even when the information got more detailed, it stayed easy to follow and interesting.

Fabulous tour to Peterhof with my son! Our tour guide Marina was a wealth of knowledge and personalized the tour to our preferences. She was very intuitive and personable. The experience was unforgettable. Andrey is an excellent driver, very safe and was able to navigate the city to avoid traffic during a big event in the city. He is also such a gentleman:). 100% recommend!

While searching for tours in Russia, I was lucky to come across St. Petersburg4u and dropped in an email which was promptly responded by Madam Olga, who not only guided us in planning a wonderful family holiday but also was available at all times to answer to our numerous queries. We started planning about 7 months in advance and we were very apprehensive of our trip due to the ever changing geo political conditions.

All in all, the tour was finalized and Madam Olga left no stone unturned to make our holiday magical. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, perfect in English, courteous and very polite. The cars used for transportation were spacious and clean with drivers who were experts and took care of all the needs of the passengers without comprising on safety. On arrival in Moscow, we were received at the airport by the company representative, Mr. Alex, who helped us with our bags and even drove us around the city to give us a first glimpse of what the city looked at night time (we arrived well past mid night). He dropped us at the hotel and the accommodation was also perfect. The next two days we were taken care of by guide, Mr. Kirill who showed us around the city and it was a thrilling experience. Heartfelt thanks to Mr. Kirill. The driver who drove us around Moscow was Mr. Alexei and we express our gratitude for his caring nature.

We then travelled to St. Petersburg by Sapsan train and what a ride it was. Excellent and we arrived in time and received by Mr. Andrei who drove us to the hotel. Our guides in St. Petersburg were Madam Catherine, Madam Vera and Madam Nataly, each one for our 3 days of stay in this cultural capital. We met Olga as well who had helped us carve out this perfect holiday.

On the last leg of our journey we travelled to Arkhangelsk and our guide for the next three days was another Madam Nataly who is a perfect blend of knowledge, experience and humbleness. She made sure that we enjoyed our stay in Arkhangelsk and we loved every bit of our holiday. Thanks to all of you for making it possible.

St. Petersburg 4U are excellent. We dealt with Olga, who planned the most wonderful itinerary for us, including Moscow, St Petersburg and a visit to a monastery in the middle of Lake Ladoga. Планировал экскурсии за неделю до поездки. Выбирал из трех агентств.

В итоге не пожалел о своем выборе. Ездили в Царское село.

Внимательная менеджер все организовала и сама напомнила накануне экскурсии и прислала контакты гида.

был предоставлен новенький микроавтобус. Экскурсию проводила великолепный гид Ольга, за что ей отдельное спасибо. Она с таким энтузиазмом и так позитивно все рассказывала и общалась.

Мы нигде не стояли в очередях и было комфортно.

The tour was wonderful, from beginning till the very end. Everything was so impressive! The cathedrals are beautiful and the armoury chamber has so many impressive and interesting items! Огромнейшая благодарность данной компании! I highly recommend it, very good tour (Kremlin) the guide was very nice and informative he devoted the time to explain everything and helped with couple of recommendations in what to do in Moscow.

I contacted Olga Surnova to arrange private visits for me and my family in St Petersburg and Moscow. She was quick to respond on WhatsApp and arranged everything as per my wishes. The tours she had arranged in St Petersburg were very, very well organised. Our tour guide, Oksana was super informative, fun, helpful and approachable.

StPetersburg4u also arranged a private city tour for us in Moscow with a very sweet and informative guide, Vitaly. They also arranged a private transfer for us to Vnukovo as per our request. The best part about them is that they will let you cover many things in just a few hours and sometimes, other tour groups can take 2-3 days to cover those attractions/conduct those same visits.

This company is highly recommended, is very approachable and replies quickly to your doubts and queries. Close your eyes and book with them for a great experience in St Petersburg and Moscow!!

Olga was our contact, we gave her the itinerary we wanted, free days off & days we wanted tours and where. private car and also hydro boat trip. All well organised and quick response time.

Guide in St. Petersburg was extremely informative. So much information. Private tour made SUCH A DIFFERENCE. Well worth the cost to avoid long waiting time for entrances and to be able to hear what your guide is saying and to have private interaction time. Pick up and drop off at hotel included.

All 3 palaces were beyond stunning. We live in France, we know palaces. St. Petersburg palaces are spectacular - what work in restauration.

Olga also arranged our day of tours in Moscow as well - metro stations, the Kremlin. There too our guide was very friendly, interesting and provided us with so much information.

Oskana our guide was absolutely fabulous on our 2 day tour of St Petersburg & Catherine's Palace. Entry was easy & quick everywhere we went & Oskana's knowledge was amazing. Travelling as a small family it was wonderful having our own private tour & not waiting for coach loads of people. We ate in an authentic Russian Cafe & even went to a couple of ballet shops for new pointe shoes. We highly recommended St Petersburg 4 you tours as they are personalised just for you!!

Tip 1: Choose St. Petersburg4U over any other tour options. This summer, I reserved a full day private tour with Viator. Their local provider stuck us with a ½ day group tour.

Tip 2: Carry copies of all documentation including emails on your person. Seeing the mistake, the local provider solved the problem by sending us back to ship. To be fair, I’ve had good experiences with Viator and they refunded my money.

Tip 3: Don’t give up. A marathon made it 1:30 by the time we reached ship. Calls from internet search got repeated “no”. Olga with St. Petersbur4U understood my frustration, called around and had a guide in 30 minutes.

Oksana was one of the best guides anywhere. TripAdviser reviews sing her praises. Many non-native English guides memorize a dialogue to recite. I’ve experienced this many times including 2 other Russian guides. Oksana’s English is comfortably conversational and personal.

Tip 4: Let your dreams be known. She knew my love of Russian history and arts spanned decades. Besides usual locations, we saw the prison at the Fortress. (Very worthwhile.) We also saw the Aurora and Alexander Column which are both historically important. We even had time for ice cream, Russian tea and a gift shop.

Tip 5: Don’t wait until the last minute to book. Everything came together for us but they probably couldn’t do this all the time.

Tip 6: If you’re spending money to travel that far, don’t settle for less than the best. You will never regret St. Petersburg4U.

We used this company for two full days of private tour (guide and driver) in St. Petersburg. Our English speaking guide was wonderful. She knows so much and tailored our two days to our specific interests.

Our guide Oksana was excellent, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We had a wonderful tour of the Catherine Palace and its gardens and later in the day visited the synagogue

Very good tour of Catherine's Palace with our guide Oksana. Picked us up at 10:30 in a Mercedes Van and driven to Catherine's Palace. From the hotel in St Petersburg Oksana gave us a commentary on all the local sites as we travelled. Then when we arrived at Catherine's palace we got a three-hour tour of the inside of the palace and some of the parts of the garden. Oksana was very knowledgable, very good English and made sure we had a great time. Would highly recommend!

Nach anfänglicher Skepsis, da es wenige Empfehlungen im Netz über ST Petersburg 4U gibt und nach genauer Recherche habe ich mich doch entschlossen für mich und meine Familie einen 2 Tages Trip bei St Petersburg 4U zu buchen! Da wir nur 2 Tage bei einer Kreuzfahrt Zeit hatten konnte ich hier kein Risiko eingehen und da auch die restliche Großfamilie dabei war haben wir uns für eine Privat-tour mit eigenem Bus und eigener Reiseleitung entschlossen! Die Organisation war beginnend mit der Übermittlung der Visapapiere sehr auf unsere individuellen Wünsche abgestimmt und die Kommunikation war klar und schnell. Die Tour letztendlich gut organisiert und Zeitlich ebenfalls gut geplant.

Ich kann somit diese kleine Firma uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde mich freuen selbst wieder Ihre Dienste in Anspruch zu nehmen wenn ich nach Russland komme.

Our guide during the tour was Oksana and she is one of the best guides we've every had the pleasure of working with. Helpful, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. Wir haben eine Privattour zum Katharinenpalast gebucht. Die Kommunikation war sehr schnell, alles hat wunderbar geklappt und unsere Reiseführerin Diana war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Es ist nicht ganz günstig, aber dafür können sie jegliche Spezialwünsche organisieren und die Veranstalter sind vertrauenswürdig.

Para visitar um museu com a dimensão deste, de modo agradável e proveitoso, só com uma visita guiado (e privada...) como fiz. Só assim foi possível visitar a colecção de jóias. É altamente aconselhável a compra prévia das entradas. As filas das bilheteiras são intermináveis!

St Petersburg 4U is the perfect choice for cruise travelers. The city is big with lots of landmarks and places to visit and you can not do it by yourself in the limited time of a cruise. When I first conducted Olga she responded in prompt time giving all the answers in my enquires and with the exchange of few emails we resulted in a tour schedule that matched our requests. Everything was well planed. Having this experience before the tour expectations were high and they haven’t proved us wrong. Our guide, Alex was fluent in English, very polite and very knowledgable. He gave us a lot of information not only for the places we visited but also for St Petersburg history. He was very flexible and adjustable to our requests. I believe that he had a quick and nice overview of the city in less than 24 hours and I highly recommend it not only for cruise travelers but to everyone that those that prefer custom made tours.

We can’t recommend this company enough. We coordinated with Olga who was prompt and so professional. Dasha our guide was wonderful. She was extremely good with our two kids (7 and 9). She kept them engaged with questions and activities. She is so intelligent answering all our questions and giving us a great history of her beautiful city. She was able to slip us into Peterhof and the Hermitage avoiding HUGE lines and tour groups, I still don’t know how she managed that. Thanks to her we were able to see everything we hoped to and SO much more in just a single day. She also takes great pictures, they are the best family pictures we have from the trip! We were a family of 7 with one 5 year old child. Oksana, our guide met us at the Port Terminal. She was so professional and kind and her instant smile and warm nature made us comfortable. We were picked up in a very nice Sprinter with more than enough room for us. On the first day, she took us to the must see sights. She’s very smart and gives you a great background as to the history of St. Petersburg. We were picked up for a canal tour on a beautiful, private vaporetto. It was all timed perfectly to avoid many of the crowds. Oksana took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch and the food made us believers that Russian food is delicious. We did the intricate subways, then at the end of the night just wanted to sit with the locals and have a drink, she took us to a great bar. I didn’t want to feel herded like a tourist and she made changes throughout the tour based on rain, crowds etc.

On day 2 we visited Peterhoff palace vía hydrofoil, she had all the tickets in advance and we just followed her lead. We went to a wonderful lunch spot where my daughter could play. We finished our tour at Pushkin palace, which was so full. Because of the rain, many people decided to go there. We already had tickets, but the lines were like Disney x’s 100. Think 5-6 hours. Crazy! Oksana tried to get us through the long, long lines, however we would have missed our boat had we stayed, so we decided it was best to leave. Oksana was so bummed even though we assured her, we don’t really like the long lines and were so happy with EVERYTHING she had done for us.

She played with my daughter and we truly fell in love with St. Petersburg because of her. She’s the best! In the pictures below you will see her engaging my daughter and making this trip memorable for all of us. Thank you Oksana and St.petersburg tours for you for a first class experience.

We were a group of 10 ( 3 families ) from the USA. Everything went very smoothly. Tours were planned with multiple discussions over phone and email. We very much enjoyed our tour around beautiful St. Petersburg. The organization was great, and visa free vouchers without any problems at all.

Our guide, Oksana, and our driver, Mikhael, did a great job! We were travelling with kids, and Oksana recommended a great stop for a break and some Russian snacks. She is also very knowledgeable about the city and her English is excellent.

The private boat trip is also great. Very nice and comfortable.

Only not so good thing was the traffic, due to which some parts of the trip took a little longer. But, we were very happy with the car and with Mikhael's flexibility, because it was raining a lot of the day.

Our first time in St. Petersburg. We did not plan to much before because we did not know what to expect from there. Only we wanted to get to know the city with their beautiful sights and with the history as good as possible in 3 days. So we've contacted Olga from "St Petersburg 4U. She could help us with all -very friendly, very professional. We planned the whole tour with St. Petersburg 4U. (Bootstour, Petershof, Hermitage) Even after the first day with Irina (our guide for all tours) we were more than satisfied. The tour itself was very professional planned with pick up from hotel. Irina could give us so many information and did not hesitate to proof if we even listen 🙂. We had a lot of fun beside all that. Our ship docked in St. Petersberg for two days - which is hardly enough to do justice to St. Petersberg's many attractions. Olga, however, arranged a perfect private tour tailored to meet our requirements. She was prompt, professional and instructive.

I am a wheelchair user and hence trips in St Petersburg are hard to put together. Thank goodness my husband found Olga who organised this visit to Peterhof Palace and Gardens perfectly for us. Our guide and driver were brilliant and we spent 3 hours bewitched by this fantastic place. There is no lift in the palace so it was arranged that I watched a video showing the rooms with English sub-titles, whilst the rest of family did the tour. This is not perfect but it works, and the gardens are accessible and breath-taking.

If you are on a Baltic cruise, forget the tours arranged by the ship, get in touch with Olga and arrange a private tour to your own specifications, it is by far the best way and very cost effective.

I was on a cruise that had a stop in St Petersburg. I wanted a 2 day tour that would be the highlight of the cruise. After doing a lot of research and checking other companies I settled on this Tour Company. The reason for this was that it was the only company in St Petersburg where I could design my own tour. I was assigned a Driver and Tour Guide. They were at the ship the morning of arrival in a Mercedes. I can not say enough about our Guide, Mira, and Andrie, the driver. Mira was the best and most knowledgeable guide we have ever had. I had booked the Hermitage for four hours and the first day, and another 2 and a half hours the second day. Mira's knowledge of the history and her knowledge of art was incredible.

We also visited the National Museum as well as a number of other attractions. Mira was amazing. At each location, Mira had our tickets, and we fast tracked to the front of the line.

As well as being an incredible tour, the price was comparable with the tours the Cruise Line offered, and that would have been sharing on a 16 passenger bus, with a set itinerary. St Petersburg 4 U is definitely a FULL 5 STAR tour company.

I had this company organised a 9-day and 8-night fully guided tour for my travel buddy and me in Moscow and St Petersburg. We decided on this mode as my travel buddy was recovering from a foot injury and could not walk long distances.

This was our 4th visit to St Petersburg and we wanted to see something different rather than the normal tourist areas. Olga very kindly listened to us and arranged a visit to a local market, Summer Gardens, Dolls museum and Vodka museum with tasting. I am a wheelchair user and we were arriving by cruise ship but St. Petersburg 4U arranged the paperwork and everything was well organised. The tour guide and driver were prompt very friendly, accommodating and thoughtful to make our tour memorable.

We were in St. Petersburg for two days when our cruise ship docked there. We decided to take a private tour on the first day (city highlights, Hermitage etc.) and took two ship organized, shorter group trips (Pushkin, boat trip, Faberge) on the second day. Day 1 was by far more instructive and enjoyable. With Olga's first class assistance we put together a 6 hour excursion; our guide Alex was simply excellent -- friendly, engaged and knowledgeable. In sum, for a modest price difference you can have a much better experience and leave the bus and the group behind --highly recommended!

After booking a private walking tour a week ago at home in Germany, I proposed several changes just one day before the tour on 18th August. We were a little concerned about trying to tour St Petersburg for 3 days apart from our cruise line's offering. Found St Petersburg 4U here and worked with Olga to create an amazing itinerary that was entirely off the beaten path. We've visited before and did all the "touristy" things but was looking for a unique experience that catered to our tastes. For me we did the Faberge Museum and the ballet. For my husband we did the Artillery Museum and for both of use we did an evening tour of the Hermitage Museum (NO CROWDS!), Yusupov Palace (where Rasputin was murdered) and Russia Art Museum. Both days had us in very impressive restaurants for lunch. Our guides Marie 1 and Marie 2 were unbelievably knowledgeable an incredibly fun to spend the day with. while our driver Vitali in his suit and sleek black Audi made us feel like VIPs all over the city. While our fellow cruisers crammed into buses and waded through crowds, St Petersburg 4U provided us with an amazing two days of comfort and interest. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We booked a Catherine Palace (Pushkin) Tour and from the beginning everything was perfect. Communications with Olga to set everything up was very fast.

Our guide Katya (with perfect English) showed up on time to our hotel to pick us up and take us to the palace and on the way she was explaining about historical buildings and history of St. Petersburg. On our arrival she was very fast at getting our tickets and we got to enter quickly (she knows how to get around long lines so we didn’t have to wait at all). At the end we asked some recommendations for restaurants for lunch and a Georgian restaurant she recommended was amazing.

I strongly recommend booking this tour with them as they are very professionals and Katya was just great with sharing her knowledge with us.

Two of my friends and I were in St Petersburg for watching football world cup games and to make the best of our time decided to take a tour in the city. My husband, sister and I booked a number of tours through St Petersburg 4u, I told them what we wanted to see and asked their advice on how best to fit it all in. Olga came back to us with a suggested itinerary and it worked out really well. We spent a day in Peterhof and the Catherine palace, an evening tour on the canals, a walking tour of St. Petersburg as well as a tour of the Hermitage. We couldn’t have possibly done it on our own in the time we had available. Our guide was able to get us through queues really quickly and as a passed staff member at the Hermitage we were able to get bypass every queue even the one for guides.

we applied to st. petersburg 4u a few months ago to organize a guided tour in the city for our 2 days cruise ship docking there. an optimal plan combining our wishes and Olga's (from the office) suggestions was devised. it turned out that the structure and efficiency of the plan, as well as the guidance provided by Mira and the cautious responsible driving by Kamil - were all perfect and to a very high standard. Grand Palace is just stunning. We were lucky to visit it at low season, museum was empty. We ended the tour in the Upper gardens, the weather was sunny and it was a great pleasure to stroll. This was the best tour I've ever taken and I can't wait to take my friends on it when they come to visit!

We had booked a 3-day tour, including the Hermitage (with the Diamond Chamber), the Pushkin Tour, a city tour by car as well as a private boat tour. Our guide Tatyana was very cultured and could answer all our questions on Russian History, Politics, Arts and Culture. She spoke excellent German, was always on time and organized everything in advance so that we never had to wait somewhere to get in. We got a very good impression of the significance of St. Petersburg and would definitely recommend the tour operator St. Petersburg 4U. Our tour guide Alex was really good and made the experience one of the highlights of our entire trip to St.Petersburg. It certainly met our expectations. I just LOVED our experience!

Decided to do a Baltic Cruise in order to visit ST Petersburg for our ruby wedding anniversary and it certainly did not disappoint. We pushed the boat out and arranged a private tour for 3 days. We saw most fo the prime sites - The Hermitage, Catheriine's Palace, Petrograd etc. The private tour meant that we learnt a lot throgh conversation with our guides and had the flexibility to adjust the timing of the sight seeing to accommodate more breaks and add/change to programme. Thus we added the Synagogue and the Faberge Museums, enjoyed a private cruise on the canals in the early evening etc. The private guide managed to steer us around the queues and avoid crowds in the places we visited asthey could change to order in whch we went around.

St Petersburg and environs have been restored to a very high standard. The history is fascinating and, even though we saw most of the major attractions in 3 full days, there is so much more that could be added. W'll be back.

We went a bit berserk as St.Petersberg was going to be the highlight of our 6 week trip to Europe, so we booked a private tour for 2 full days. Visited the Hermitage (a must see for us) and was sorry to miss the Catherine Palace due to a private function. Went to the Peterhaus instead which was very good but packed with perhaps 50-100 group tours - mostly Chinese. For us the highlight was the private canals boat tour in a vintage wooden power boat - I perfected my royal wave to all the envious watchers on the bridges and the other boat tours. The car was luxurious and very well driven. Our guide was hugely knowledgeable but insisted on telling us who lived when in every house we passed!

We recomand to visit Saint Petersburg with 4you because there guides are excelent Olga , Sasa and Maria we Kind regards for all.

Olga of StPetersburg4you took us on a great tour of Tsarkoe Seloe, or Pushkin. Arrived promptly, very knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend this tour group. The only drawback was that when we got to the site, there was a glitch with our tickets and we had to wait for them to arrive for about 40 minutes. This would not have been a problem in itself, but the delay was barley acknowledged, and no accommodation was made in terms of our time at Pushkin. In other words, we returned at exactly the scheduled time despite the fact that our tour was cut short by the ticket glitch. A problem of inexperience, perhaps? On the other hand, my stomach was feeling a little rocky when we got back and Olga's boss (also named Olga!) went to a local pharmacy and brought me back a stomach remedy, for which she refused payment. So I would highly recommend this tour group and only write about the problem so that they can do better in the future.

If you need a private guide for St. Petersburg you can not do better than St. Petersburg for you. They were everything I wrote in my title. When I wanted to change my itinerary they were responsive and flexible. They always followed up with me thru email and text. Olga, is a professional. You can not go wrong with them.

The guide was waiting both days and handled timing and entries at all points visited expertly.Her delivery was informative but very monotonous unfortunately.she answered all queries patiently.

Olga organised the itinerary to our satisfaction,transport was comfortable and everything went smoothly.Only ballet tickets,though booked in adv of almost 5 mths,were very unsatisfactorily selected in the last row and at corner.

All in all,good memories and thanks to St. Petersburg 4 you,for organising it well.

We travelled as a group of 8 to Moscow and SPB. Olga arranged all the daily tours and we were pleased with the transport and guides that she arranged. I highly recommend the agency and would refer them to all my friends who intend to visit Russia

We had a perfect Pushkin Tour with Olga.

In the morning we were picked up in a spacious car with driver and our guide Olga and dropped of at the airport after our tour. All really convenient.

Olga was a perfect guide with excellent knowledge (she studied history) and perfect English language skills. We could really ask every question which we had from the last days of visiting the town and she had an answer to it.

On our way to Catherine Palace we had a couple of stops and saw some places that we would have otherwise missed. Olga is really in love with the city and makes you share that. Thanks a lot.

El guia Iván dominaba el tema y no solo respondió bien a todas las preguntas sino que hizo que la excursión fuera muy amena contando numerosas anécdotas. Muy recomendable si se quiere visitar el Palacio de Catalina con recogida y regreso a St Petersburgo en un minibus.

This is the ONLY way I will see the Hermitage from now on . . . my friends and I took a private guided evening tour with St. Petersburg 4U and it was worth every penny. We provided a list of the artists and paintings we were most interested in and our wonderful guide Mira focused on those items, but also pay our attention to other masterpieces she believed would be of interest based on our original list. We really enjoyed our guided tour. It’s perfect not having to use a map and have someone else navigate the labyrinth. Full services provided by St. Petersburg 4U were superb.

We had private evening tour at 5:30 PM on Wednesday. It was fantastic - No crowds- able to walk up close to exhibits, silence. Our guide was very informative and friendly and made the tour fun and cognitive.

I have visited Hermitage 5 years ago and it wasn’t my best experience because of crowds and lines. So this tour was night and day!
